Silk care

Silk care – How to keep your silk radiant and supple

Silk is a precious, natural fiber that deserves special care. Proper treatment preserves its softness, luster, and durability.

Wash

It's best to handwash silk in lukewarm water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. If machine washing is necessary, select the gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C and use a laundry bag.

Dry

Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Gently squeeze out the water (do not wring) and let the silk air dry flat.

Iron

Iron silk at a low temperature (preferably while slightly damp) and inside out. Use a thin cotton cloth as a protective layer between the silk and the iron.

storage

Store silk in a dry, dark place, preferably in a breathable fabric bag. Avoid plastic packaging, as this can damage the fiber.

With these care instructions, your silk will stay beautiful and comfortable for a long time. Enjoy the luxurious comfort of fine, sustainably produced silk!
